From "Lasts" to "Firsts"

It seems to me like we've gone from lasts to firsts. Up until the baby got here, we had a bunch of last times, like last supper out (that one was unexpected), last summer without a kid, last this, last that.

Beautifully, those have been replaced with firsts. First card ride, first stroller stroll, first meal, first breath, first bath, first thunderstorm. It's seriously amazing.
