Three Months Young

Today Scarlett is three months old. Wow. September 19 seems forever ago and yesterday, all at the same time.

We've done some decorating this year, including my pièce de resistance, Christmas lights on the outside of the house. It was quite an undertaking, I risked my life (just a little) but it was totally worth it. We do have a Christmas tree year, but it's a 2 foot high rosemary bush in the shape of a Christmas tree. It has presents under it and all. We'll do a full-on fake tree next year when Scarlett has a clue what's going on.

Yesterday, Scarlett shit on me. More specifically, she shit all over everything. It exploded up her back, on her clothes, and my hands. It was surprise not welcomed when I put my hand back there and felt poo. Of course, I'm not accustomed to dealing with that much poo so as I'm changing her, it gets all over the changing pad, her feet, and the clean diaper. I guess the fact it took three months for this to happen is a win.
